Automation for repetition. Human control for every final decision.
Marketplace Assistant was built to reduce the time sellers spend recreating their own Facebook Marketplace listings while keeping accuracy, publication, and deletion under the user's control.
The problem we set out to solve
Relisting a vehicle or item often means finding the same photos, entering the same price and location, rebuilding the description, and selecting the same details again. That repetitive work becomes especially noticeable for independent auto dealers managing multiple active vehicles.
Marketplace Assistant shortens this process by collecting supported information from a seller's own active listing and preparing a fresh draft. The draft remains visible and editable so the seller can update anything that has changed.
Why the workflow stops before Publish
A listing can become outdated. Mileage may increase, price may change, maintenance may be completed, or the vehicle may no longer be available. For that reason, Marketplace Assistant does not automatically publish or delete listings.
The extension handles repeatable transfer steps. The user reviews the new draft, confirms its accuracy, and performs the final action. This review-first principle guides every product decision.
How development is documented
Product limitations and requirements are stated plainly. Facebook must currently be set to English (US), videos are not copied, and up to 20 available original photos can be transferred. Marketplace Assistant does not promise ranking improvements, buyer messages, or sales.
Development updates, setup instructions, and workflow guides are published in the Marketplace Assistant blog. Sellers can also use the support center when a workflow does not behave as expected.
